ABSTRACT: Northwest Indiana is an area of contrasts with high quality habitats interspersed with industry and urban areas. Some of the highest remaining plant biodiversity in the US is in northwest Indiana and restoration often relies on mitigation related funds. This presentation will discuss several restoration projects, funding sources and success/failure plus lessons learned.
